Guarantees and Disclaimers
Because sheer materials in blinds are made with a variety of fabric and due to various environmental pollutants that blinds are exposed to through the years, such as sun damage, normal daily handling, candle soot, cooking fumes, etc., it is not possible to give any guarantees in completely preventing possible fabric shrinkage, stretching, dye loss/color loss, dye run, etc. These things are inherent in the fabric and important that a customer realizes and understands this fact on material and its possible response to cleaning.
We cannot take responsibility for damage caused by prior application of various cleaning products, the fabric’s exposure of the years that may not surface until washing, stains that will not come out, etc. Additionally, sun damage may not be visible until washed as well. These are all conditions present with the material and cannot be the responsibility of ours in the cleaning process.
Ultrasonic cleaning does such an excellent, thorough clean, previous unknown stains that are covered in pollutants will not surface until they are cleaned. In that case, we have to take the cleaning several steps further and hope that the source of the stain will come out. At times, certain stains that are exposed to heat and for a long period of time, the stain settles into the fibers and could become permanent. It is important to tell us about any stains and it’s source to help us get it out.
We use several different treatments according to the type of stain we’re dealing with. We do inspect the blinds for proper working order and for possible damages before removal of the blind. During inspection, we might take pictures of the before cleaning for assurance. Again, it has to be known that some stains simply may be permanent, but it is our ultimate goal to get them out.
With that said, we simply cannot “guarantee” all stains will come out. Certain paints might be stubborn but most can come out. You can be absolutely certain we take excellent care and concern and do our absolute best to make your blinds look new again.
